This week I would like for you to think about and compare the equality of men and women in your home culture. Are men and women completely equal??? State how they are equal and how they are unequal. Do you think that women and men should be completely equal in your home country? Do you think they will ever be equals?
Gosh, Julie-- this is a pretty big subject! I think in my home country and culture (Canada), we do have gender equality in terms of equal wages for equal work, equal educational opportunities, voting, and so on. There is NOT equality in politics, adimistrative positions in large established companies (old boys clubs), language, women's physical safety.
